2008 PHRF Division 1 & 2 Results

Britannia Yacht Club runs the racing for Tuesday night PHRF racing in Divisions 1 & 2. BYC is responsible for scoring these races, and results are posted on BYC's Race Results page. Results on this page are copied from BYC's web site periodically, to provide a back-up to BYC's server, and to provide a complete record of NSC racing. Note that in the event of a discrepancy between the results posted on the NSC and BYC web sites, the BYC results are likely more current, and thus likely more accurate.

SPRING SERIES:

Results:
- May 13: Practice Race: Cancelled due to lack of wind.
- May 20: Practice Race: Cancelled after 1.5 legs due to lack of wind.
- May 27: Race #1, W Course, shortened to two sausages due to delayed start and very long legs. Winds NNW 18-25 knots.
- June 3: Race #2, T Course, shortened to five legs due to delayed start and light winds. Winds SE 5-10 knots.
- June 10: Race #3, W Course. Winds W 4-8 knots. (Postponed on shore to let cold front and thunderstorms pass.)
- June 17: Race #4, W Course. Winds W-SW 3-7 knots.
- Final Cumulative & Individual Results - 4 Races.

SUMMER SERIES:

Results:
- June 24: Race #1, W Course, Winds W 10-18 knots.
- July 1: No race -- Canada Day.
- July 8: Race #2, W Course, Winds SW 5-10 knots.
- July 15: Race #3, WE Course, Winds S 12-18 knots.
- July 22: Race cancelled due to lack of wind.
- July 29: Race #4, W Course, Winds WNW 6-12 knots.
- August 5: Race #5, W Course, Winds E 10-15 knots.
- August 12: Race #6, W Course, Winds W 10-15 knots.
- Final Cumulative & Individual Results - 6 Races.

FALL SERIES:

Results:
- August 19: Race #1, T Course, Winds WNW 7-15 knots.
- August 26: Race #2, W Course, Winds NW 3-5 knots.
- September 2: Race #3, W Course, Shortened for Division 1, abandoned for Division 2.
- September 9: Race #4, W Course, Shortened to four legs. Winds NW 15-25 knots, diminishing.
- September 16: Race #5, W Course, Shortened to four legs for Div 2. Winds W 5-8 knots.
- September 23: Race #6, W Course, Shortened to three legs for Div 2, four legs for Div 1. Winds S 2-4 knots.
- September 30: Race #7, W Course, finished after dark. Winds ESE 3-5 knots.
