The Sailing Instructions for FANFARE 2023 have been posted on the Documents Page.

Registration for FANFARE is open until 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8. Fleets include Martin 16s, Club 420s, 505s, Albacores Open Catamarans, and Fireballs. FANFARE co-chairs will be in NSC’s Harbourview Hall from 4-7 p.m. on Friday to answer any questions.

FANFARE is for the following fleets: Martins, 2.4s, 505s, Albacores, Fireballs, 420s and Open Catamarans. This  event is always held the weekend after Labour Day – this year, it lands on September 9th and 10th.

Nepean Sailing Club’s FANtastic FAll REgatta will be held September 9 + 10, 2023. The regatta is open to dinghy and catamaran classes.

This year’s FANFARE chairs are Evelyn Simpson and Leonore Evans.

FANFARE (Fantastic Nepean Fall Regatta) 2023 is planned for 9 + 10 September 2023. We intend to invite One Design dinghy classes + Open catamaran class, for 2 days of great sailing in good winds and warm water.

The Fantastic Nepean Fall Regatta – FANFARE 2022 ran 10 + 11 September, with 71 people racing in 36 boats. This is our annual Fall event for small boats. The race committee fired off 5 to 7 races for each fleet, correctly reading and accounting for a 130 degree wind-shift in the middle of both days. more…
