At Nepean Sailing Club we have great sailors racing Vipers, Fireballs, 505’s Catamarans, J-22’s Sharks, PHRF, J-80’s and Women’s PHRF to name just a few of the active classes. Rarely do these great sailors get the opportunity to go up against each other in a boat they are unfamiliar in.
Using International 2.4 meter sailboats loaned by their owners and short course, stadium style racing right in front of the NSC breakwater (but clear of the buoyed channel), the organizers will be inviting each of Nepean Sailing Club’s 22 sailing fleets to name their sailor to uphold fleet pride and have bragging rights at the club bar. Even if you are not selected by your fleet, you will be able to watch the racing and cheer your fleet representative from the grass just west of the lighthouse or from your boat anchored in close proximity of the race course.
