As we close out the sailing year and store our boats, we would like to remind members to not leave electrical heaters running in their boats and to lock up their ladders. Pump out and yard water services were winterized Friday, November 11.

Crane Familiarization, September 30, 1:00-3:00
The next crane familiarization session will be held Saturday, September 30th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the south crane. Anyone planning on using either of the NSC standing cranes must attend a crane familiarization session. To register, please email me.

Pump Out Closing November 13
With night-time temperatures dropping, its time to winterize the vacuum pump-out system. The system will be shut down for the season on Monday, November 13 which means that the upcoming weekend of November 11 & 12 the last days in 2023 to pump-out your holding tanks.
Reminder – Contaminant Discharge Policy
As planning and preparation for haulout and winter storage begins, members are reminded of Harbour Policy 7.3.1 that stipulates (under Ontario law) that the discharge of contaminants into the harbour is prohibited. This includes substances such as plumbers antifreeze and ethylene glycol. Boat owners are responsible for the full recovery and removal of these chemicals.
Dinghy Park 2011
There will be a work party on Saturday to open the Dinghy Park beginning at 8:30 AM.
2020 NSC Mooring Invoices Have Been Sent
Mooring Invoice Letters and current account statements were sent to members via e-mail on February 3rd. Mooring and yard service payments are due by March 1st.
