Sailing Away: Making Your Dream a RealityIt’s that time of year to kick off our popular Winter Speakers Series! This series of talks is open to the entire sailing community of Ottawa, is volunteer run and is donations-based. This is one of the best kept secrets of winter for sailors and boaters!
The presenters for this year’s Speakers Series have now been confirmed (with a few final details being worked out). It has, once again, shaped up to be an amazing series of talks…so book your calendars now and bring a friend (or two).
NSC’s own Ken Aalder’s continues to work his magic in getting both some great new speakers as well as our seasoned veteran speakers…take a look and get inspired…remember….launch is not THAT far off!

Talks start at 7:30 pm, and are held in Harbourview Hall
Nepean Sailing Club, 3259 Carling Avenue, Ottawa.
The 2015 line-up has some of our seasoned speakers back to update us on this progress along with particular focus on practical skills – weather prediction and management, rope splicing, and the ever-popular racing rules of sailing session.
