Racers are reminded that as of September 1st, per SI 6.2, the first warning signal is 15 minutes earlier. Also, now would be a good time for sailors to check their running lights, as keelboat racers should not expect to always get ashore before sunset.

Larry Nicholls, 1947-2018
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of long-time NSC member Larry Nicholls, skipper of C&C 30 “Harricana”. Larry passed away very peacefully in his sleep in the wee hours of December 1st, following a brief but courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer.
