A website is a lot like the start of a sailing race. There’s a sequence, all the boats are trying to align perfectly for the starting gun, there are rules about overlap and much coordination to avoid collisions. NSC’s website is where the club’s many services come together in a similar dance of coordination.

Seven Tanzer sailboats are jockeying for position, sailing left to the starting line marked by the race committee boat, a powerboat with a flag marking the starting line.

Sail training courses, boat storage in the harbour and yard, and dining services in the Bar and Galley are just a few of the many services the club offers to members, prospective members and the surrounding community. The role of the website is to display these offerings, entice people to take part and provide the information for accessing a service. The development of NSC’s new website has involved consultation with the stakeholders behind each of the service areas. The Public Relations Director will be giving a sneak peak of the new site at the AGM and the site will launch soon.
