Mobility Cup, Canada’s International Regatta for Sailors with Disabilities is coming to Nepean Sailing Club September 9 – 13, 2019. Already, entries have been received from as far away as Hawaii and San Diego. Entries are expected from all the provinces. This is an opportunity to showcase Nepean’s famous hospitality. To help make it a success, the organizing committee is looking for a member to take on the role of coordinating our team of volunteers.
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Coordinate with MC2019 committee to ensure there is a list of essential volunteer duties and how many volunteers are required for: a) activities prior to September 9th b) during the event (September 9th – 13th)
- Coordinate with Registration to ensure the volunteer tasks are listed on the Mobility Cup website for volunteers to sign up online
- During Mobility Cup September 9 – 13th Participate in evening or early morning meetings with Chairpersons, Administration, Yard and Dock team leaders for assigning daily volunteer roster
This is a great opportunity to work with fellow club members and to meet a variety of Able Sailors from near and far. This role is both rewarding and fun.
