Gobble! Gobble! Gobble! Folks, the ever-popular NSC Turkey Trot Pursuit is on Monday October 11th! This is an open club member’s pursuit sail race. All sailboats, members and guests welcome. Registered Handicaps are not required!

Basically, the Turkey Trot is once or twice around the Interclub Racing Circle marks, and first sailboat home wins the day. Of course, the slowest boats get to start first to even things up. Even if you’ve never raced, this is a fun day out and a great way to get out and sail one more time before the end of the season. Skippers meeting is at 10:00, under the blue tent beside the gate to the harbour. Keep your eyes on NSC’s Telltale for further updates and the website for the Sailing Instructions. Please come out and join the fun! (See the Evite link for more race details.)

After the race, please join us for cocktail hour with complimentary Thanksgiving themed canapes over some live music on the deck until sunset. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the music will move inside the clubhouse. Please be aware, we are required to follow all Provincial COVID Regulations. This means if the event moves inside, proof of vaccination is required.

To determine numbers for food service and event planning, please register yourself and your crew through Evite.
