The 14th annual Nepean One Design regatta will be hosted at NSC this coming weekend, June 23/24. This is going to be a very exciting and very busy weekend around the club. We are expecting close to 110 boats along with roughly 400 participants and volunteers – approximately 50% of the boats are coming from outside NSC. 10 fleets will race on three race courses on Saturday and Sunday from approximately 10:00 to 16:00.

Most of the out-of-club keelboats will raft up immediately in front of the club. The harbour is likely to be congested as boats make their way out to the race courses each morning (around 9:00) and return each day after racing (around 16:00). As such, we encourage you to avoid using the service docks during these times in order to avoid long waits.

If you know you will be out of your slip this weekend and would allow us to use your slip for an out-of-club boat, please contact the NOD harbour coordinator Michael Lee at nod-harbour@nsc.ca ASAP.

Please join us in showing this year’s NOD competitors our warmest NSC welcome and we thank you in advance for your patience and role in making this a successful event. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to be in touch with us at nod-chair at nsc.ca.
