Are you interested in getting into racing? Or have already started and would like an opportunity to practice?

The T22 Association is holding race clinics the first 4 Wednesdays in June. If you are brand new to racing we will put a coach on your boat. Depending on availability other boats might also get the help of an experienced racer. The format is to set up a start line and a windward mark about 150 yards away. The “race” is a start, round the windward mark and finish back at the start line. Each race takes about 10-12 minutes and we do five of them. You get to experience the intimidating parts – start line and mark rounding.

This is white sail so you only need two people on the boat, one of which might be the coach. The first gun is at 7:00 pm. Course location depends on wind direction and where the other Wednesday fleets have set up. Typically we set up near “P” mark.

More detail will be sent to those who plan to participate. Please contact Phil Wilcox at  pwilcox@sympatico.ca
