This week’s presentation is all about the NSC harbour and yard.  Our Rear Commodore and Harbourmaster, David will cover all about how to get your boat in the water in the Spring and out in the Fall, as well as everything in between. He’ll cover how to access and use the extensive facilities at NSC and the various services and volunteer groups that are available to members, in particular those who are new to NSC, in getting their boats ready to go for the season.

A Montreal native, David joined the military at 17 and served for 35 years in the army as a Signals Officer.  He left the Canadian Armed Forces as a Major-General in 2015 after serving in various places, including tours in Bosnia and Afghanistan.  David and his wife, Elisabeth, have sailed together since they met 30+ years ago and have been members of NSC since 1998. Their current ride is Segueh, the first J/80 to be introduced to NSC and Lac Deschênes.  David has had the privilege of serving in his current role at NSC since December 2018 and there has never been a dull moment since!
