NSC and Ontario Sailing are hosting a 1/2 day Sail Canada introductory Race Management seminar on Sunday May 28th. If you are interested in joining the popular community of Race Committee volunteering, or would like to learn more about Race Committee signals, this course is for you.

Upon completion of the course, you will be a certified Assistant Race Officer (Level 1).   Full course information is available the Course Description. This is the only upcoming course scheduled for Eastern Ontario and is open to all local club members.

The course starts at 9am and will be conducted by Bill Visser in the Harborview Hall and will last approximately 4-5 hours.   Cost is $53.11/person (including HST) and includes a copy of “Join the Race Committee Team” manual. Lunches are available for purchase from the NSC Galley menu.

It is recommended participants bring along a copy of the current 2017-2021 Racing Rules of Sailing.

Complimentary copies of the new Rules book (normally $21) are available for NSC members from the NSC office. Just show Julie your Ontario Sailing proof of registration for this course.
