After 2 days of racing, with 2 days remaining, NSC sailors Brian Peckover & Doreen Ames lead the Gold and Silver fleets respectively at the 2018 Mobility Cup in Halifax. Hot & gusty weather conditions. A pair of Martin 16’s and a coach boat were shipped out from NSC. We will be hosting the 2019 event – watch for more on that next year.

Racers, Register now for Racing
While racing is still on hold pending approval from the provincial government, plans are underway, and we fully expect to have some racing program in 2020. But to be eligible, racers must first register; NSC members should use the NSC on-line Race Registration portal.
Yard & Harbour Open, W and Service Docks Remain Closed
I’m very happy to report that the yard and harbour have reopened for business with the exception of W dock, the service docks and docks immediately in front of the club house which remain closed until further notice.

Water Levels on the Ottawa River (18 April)
Forecasted water levels on the Ottawa River are expected to rise quickly this week. We are watching closely and putting our plans in action – expect some restrictions while we prepare.
