Thursday – In celebration of the end of the 2011 racing series and season, BYC will host a social this evening after racing. There will be light snacks served and the bar will be open. If T-storms get in the way of racing we’ll just start earlier.

NSC Pinhey’s Point Race – Sunday June 24
This is the second race of the Interclub Long distance series. The start is at “S” mark and the warning time is 1100 hours. The two drop marks off Pinhey’s Point must be rounded to port. Refer to Sailing Instructions for details.

Dinghy & SUP Rentals are now open for those who attended a Qualifier session in 2020 – more info here. Participation at a Qualifier session is required before renting a dinghy (but not a SUP); the next Qualifier sessions is August 7. Book here.
Get Ready for the Frostbite Series, October 4, 11 & 18
The NSC Frostbite Series runs Sunday afternoons on the first three Sundays after weeknight racing ends*, which this year is October 4th, 11th & 18th. There are two races per day, with the first warning signal at 13:30, per Part F2 of the Sailing Instructions. There will be separate starts for PHRF, JAM and Dinghies.

Ottawa Skiff and Cat Grand Prix at NSC is go for June 1 and 2. Get your fast boats ready and let’s get the 2019 sailing season on the water.
Yard & Harbour Open, W and Service Docks Remain Closed
I’m very happy to report that the yard and harbour have reopened for business with the exception of W dock, the service docks and docks immediately in front of the club house which remain closed until further notice.
