Lady Liberty Regatta 2023 – NSC in Team Canada
J24 Team Canada J24 Team Canada, led by Michele Cimon, returns to New York City for the Lady Liberty Invitational Regatta 2023, September 8-10. NSC members Michele (trimmer), Zhanna Orazgalieva (middle), Jenn Spallin (mast), and Kirsten Carroll Somoza (foredeck), join helm Melodie Gummer from Kingston Yacht Club to form the crew for this year’s team….
Reminder – Contaminant Discharge Policy
As planning and preparation for haulout and winter storage begins, members are reminded of Harbour Policy 7.3.1 that stipulates (under Ontario law) that the discharge of contaminants into the harbour is prohibited. This includes substances such as plumbers antifreeze and ethylene glycol. Boat owners are responsible for the full recovery and removal of these chemicals.
