Volunteer Cooks And Helpers Needed – Turkey Trot Feast – 14 October
Monday October 14 is our annual Feast, to give thanks for the wonderful community of NSC and a great 2019 sailing season. We need volunteers to cook turkeys and other foods at home, and to help lay out the food. Sailors sail in the Turkey Trot pursuit race.
2011 Canadian 2.4mR Championship Results
Nepean Sailing Club hosted the 2011 Canadian 2.4mR Championship on July 23rd and 24th. This was the first time the event has been held outside the metro Toronto region
Early end to Jacques Adam River Challenge
The Jacques Adam River Challenge (JARC) is ending early this year. All attempt submissions must be submitted by 2100 on Sunday, October 18, to be eligible for the 2020 ranking. The JARC has enjoyed tremendous popularity this year, with as many attempts in 2020 as in the previous 4 years put together!
Caribbean Sailing Pursuits, Tuesday August 4, 11, 18
Enjoy non-competitive pursuit sailing on Tuesday Summer evenings, for all keelboats. Each boat has a start time based on its handicap, with the slowest boats starting first. Sail around the course and enjoy your sailing community. There’s a “Sail the Caribbean” theme, with a suitable prize each evening for the best-dressed boat.
