As we slide toward “that season that shall not be named“, it is time to plan preparations to store your boat. Likewise, we are preparing to reconfigure the Yard for storage and all Member-Boat-Owners should be advised of upcoming deadlines and planned closures. Trailer Launch and Park owners also have updated schedules because this year, we’ve accommodated sailors participating in the annual Frostbite Race series.
All Member-Boat-Owners – Yard Access Restrictions
On October 21, 22 and 24, there will be significant access and traffic restrictions in the Yard to all members. During this time, teams of volunteers and staff will be onsite reconfiguring and preparing the Yard for storage.
Trailer Launch and Park Member-Boat-Owners:
- Last NSC Frostbite Race: Sunday 15 October
- Prepare your Boat for Storage: 15 October – 20 October 17h00
- Boats stored offsite should be removed
- Park and Trailer Launch Area close to Members: 20 October, 17h00 (Friday):
- Hard deadline to remove boats not being stored at NSC
- Park Compression and Trailer Launch storage: 21 October, 08h00
- Staff and Volunteers on site moving boats to storage locations
- Yard access will be restricted, boats in the yard will be moved – this is NOT the time to plan to work on your boat
