I, for one, was delighted to see the NSC Mother’s Day Brunch back on the menu. Seemed that the day went off without a hitch – smiling faces all around, hot and cold buffet and a nice warm room on a windy and cool day. Why mention the heat? Read on….
Hydro service to the Club was offline right at the time that Chef Tim needed a fully operational kitchen. And, was he relieved to hear our nifty generator chugging away when he arrived, keeping the Club online. Nobody noticed a short flicker in the lights as the Club seamlessly switched back on to the mains when power was restored.
Saved from explaining to all Moms that Brunch would be cancelled.
