Great to see members in the Yard and a few tarps coming off. As you work around your boats, please ensure that your ladders are locked to your cradle or trailer while not in use.
Locking the ladders is a simple measure to help deter theft – of the ladders themselves – and also a deterrent for anyone using your ladder to “visit” other boats. Please help keep everyone – and everything – safe.
Sunday May 2nd: Option to use mobile crane
Saturday, July 16th, began with bright sunny weather and calm, near-perfect conditions for swimming for the 15th annual Bushtukah Bring on the Bay Open Water Swim in support of Easter Seals. After a 2-year “COVID” pause, almost 170 volunteers came out to support the swimmers.
Despite the freezing conditions, I thought you’d like to know that we’ve reached the halfway point between Haul-Out and Launch. Days are getting longer, time to start “thinking boating”.

Two setbacks yesterday on the same afternoon! First, the Pump-Out system is currently under repair, parts are order. On the same afternoon, our North Crane stopped – crane technicians are on site now. Will post updates as they happen, we appreciate your patience.
The NSC harbour is open for 2014 business. The Service Docks and W-Dock are in place and both cranes are operational.
