Nepean Sailing Club has once again been accepted to be part of Doors Open Ottawa, the annual celebration of architecture and community in the National Capital Region.
National Capital Cup – July 9-10
The Nepean Sailing Club is hosting the 2022 National Capital Cup with competitors from across Ontario and Quebec. It is Ottawa’s biggest regatta for sailors with physical disabilities and is a preparatory regatta for the national Mobility Cup in September.

Daphne Kirk-Dain, 1931 – 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daphne Beryl Kirk-Dain on December 25, 2018 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. A celebration of life will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club, 3259 Carling Avenue, Ottawa on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. Daphne’s obituary is available here.
Volunteer Scuba Divers Requested
NSC needs to do a survey of the state of the chains securing our docks. A pair of qualified volunteer divers are being sought over the next few weeks to perform this survey. If you are qualified and available to help, please contact Gene Bruce for further details: gbruce at nsc.ca.
