With the sailing season comes a new wave of parking infractions. A few problems are inevitable, please read on.
A full parking lot is always a good sign, but can be a source of frustration if you’re looking for a parking spot just before a race or just before an NSC event. To help stay ahead of demand, there are two things you need to know:
Regardless of the day or special event, you are not allowed to Park along either side of the road that leads from Carling Avenue to the Yard Gate.
On Thursday’s, we have permission from the City to park cars on the grassy area at the Eastern-most end of the park – the entrance is just beside the yard gate and will be well marked.
If you receive a ticket yet feel that you were properly parked, please contact the NSC Office – we are in touch with Ottawa Bylaw more than you know(!).
