There are only six (6) weeks left in the 2011 edition of the Ottawa River Challenge. As of 17 Sep, Iluka holds the Open Record with a very strong elapsed time of 05:01:00.
The Ottawa River Challenge is a race to Mohr Island and back and so far there has been ten successful attempts.
Will Iluka’s record stand come 31 Oct 11? Are the favourites waiting for some good autumn winds to come before setting out on their Record Attempts? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: if you don’t put in an attempt, you will never win.
