Saturday 23 Jan @ 7:30 pm, the Nepean Sailing Club is kicking-off its 2010 Speakers Program – Toonie Talks, with Canada’s around-the-world solo racer – Derek Hatfield.
Derek will be talking about his 2002-03 Around Alone race as well as his preparations for his team’s next campaign, the VELUX 5 OCEANS race, starting from France in October. Check out the details.
NSC’s Speakers Program provides presentation on boating topics each Thursday evening throughout our non-sailing season.
The Speakers Program presentations are open to the public and cost a toonie (donated to youth sailing). Bar and Food service will be open all day, from Noon to 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome.
