Nonetheless, there is a decent – although slightly damp – weather window coming our way in the next few days. Time to start thinking about picking up your supplies….VC, sandpaper, drop sheets, rubber gloves, blue masking tape….. so that you can exploit any decent weather and also if Spring decides to settle in quickly.
Would be good to start seeing some tarps getting pulled.
BYC will host the Interclub Awards for the 2019 season, on January 16, 2020. So join your fellow racers at BYC. Awards begin at 7:00 p.m., but the bar will be open well before then. No reservations required.
The Spring Information Meeting will be held on Thursday April 18th at 7:30 pm in the East Room. All are welcome; please register at the Office between 6:30 and 7:30 pm.
The Queen’s Park Race, hosted by BYC, is a counter for the Interclub Long Distance Series. The warning signal is 13:30, Sunday July 28. Start at “S” mark, leave to port the drop mark at Queen’s Park and finish at “S” mark. For detail refer to the Sailing Instructions.
Gobble! Gobble! Gobble! Folks, the ever-popular NSC Turkey Trot Pursuit is on Monday October 11th! This is an open club member’s pursuit sail race. All sailboats, members and guests welcome. Registered Handicaps are not required!
