Yard closures remain in effect so Service Providers can move boats efficiently. Members who need to haul out their own boats, or who need to remove heavy equipment from their boats, can get vehicle access the yard during closure hours through the Club Staff. The updated dates and facility changes are as follows:

  • Beginning Thursday, October 10 – The yard gate will be closed to vehicle traffic from 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs daily during weekdays so Service Providers can haul out and move boats. Members who need to bring their vehicle and trailer into the yard to haul out their boat can do do by requesting access through the Club Staff (Gene, James, Julie)
  • Saturday, 16 November – The harbour will be closed along with associated services – pump out, dock water, club cranes, yard water and public launch ramp. Note that the Service Docks and the Face Dock in front of the clubhouse will be moved away at this time.
  • Monday, 18 November – The dinghy docks are planned to be moved into the harbour area in order to greatly reduce the risk of being damaged or removed by ice build up.
  • Water and Pump Out.  At of 5 November, the only water available in the yard is from a hose from the Pump out shack (kept inside when not in use). If members need water to their boats a long distance from this location, please bring your own hose. The Pump out is still available but it is highly recommended that members don’t leave this chore for too much longer.

Note: Please contact your Service Provider to make arrangements to haul out your boat if you are not using the Club (Commercial) haul out or hauling out your boat on your own.
