NSC Club Launch Postponed
Due to forecast flooding that is predicted by the Ottawa River Regulating Committee (ORRC) to be at, or above, the 2017 peak levels and the prevailing conditions in the harbour and yard, the Club Launch date has been postponed from 4 May to 11 May 2019.
20 Mile Race, September 24
The last race of the Interclub Long Distance Series will be Sunday, September 24th. The start is at “S” mark, warning gun at 10:00. A temporary up-river mark is rounded to port. Finish at “S” as per Part H, 6.3. Distance: approx. 20 nm. Report results online at racing/results/finish-times-ld/.
2021 Dock Top Replacement Project – Completed
This year’s dock top demolition has been completed in record time over the 20/21 March weekend. A and X dock mains are now having new stringers and decking installed over the next month. A big “Thank You” to all the hard working members who came out. Well done to all of you!!! No further volunteer…
Pinheys Point – Navigation
Update June 5: The log reported at Pinhey’s Point has been towed to shore and tied to the Pinhey’s Point dock by a helpful boater Luc Lafreniere. The log has also acquired a name, Mr. Round, courtesy of Luc’s daughter.
