The Interclub Awards Night was held on January 16th — thanks to our friends at BYC for hosting a fine evening. For those who couldn’t make it, but earned a keeper plaque, these can be picked up at NSC. They are currently in a box in the coat room — please pick up any that you and your crew might have won.

Queens’ Park Race #2 – Sunday August 26
The second Queen’s Park Race, open to PHRF, JAM, Sharks, Dinghies and Daysailers, is on AUg26. This is an ILD counter. TIME: Warning 1330. COURSE: Start at “S” Mark as per Part A, 14.2. Leave to port drop mark at Queen’s Park. Finish at “S” as per Part H, 6.2. Distance: approx. 8.4 Nm.
Winter Speaker Wed Mar 8 Dan Godbout: Sailing the St Lawrence to Baie Comeau
Dan and Theresa Godbout sailed their Beneteau 331 down the St-Lawrence to Baie Comeau and back to Kingston in June 2019. His talk will give you an overview and the highlights of this amazing 6 week trip.
Ontario Sailing Level 1 & 2 Race Officer Courses, March 28th & 29th
NSC will host an Ontario Sailing sponsored session of the Sail Canada Level 1 & 2 Race Officer Courses, running 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday March 28 and 29th, 2015. This is the only course scheduled for Eastern Ontario and is open to all interested people.
New Hazard Marker in NSC Channel
As of 13 September, a new White Spar Buoy marker has been installed over an underwater hazard discovered within the NSC channel that has been struck by several members’ boats. Please exercise caution when transiting around this area.
Nepean One Design Regatta – June 23-24
Over 100 boats are registered for Ottawa’s premier one-design event happening June 23-24. Registration is still open. Look forward to seeing you there.
