With the help of 12 volunteers, the installation of NSC’s “Goose Guard Mk 4’s” was completed this morning. For all you Geese out there, this is it, your final eviction notice to leave our Dinghy Docks (we hope!).These are passive devices that make it hard for the Geese to see a full 360 degrees around them. This makes them uneasy and they leave. The “Guards” have been very effective so far (more so than flashing lights, windmills, noise makers and, of course, Celine Dion played at high volume).
Sincerely appreciate this morning’s help and anxious for feedback on the Guards.
