Report on 20 Mile Race – Sunday, September 27
It was an amazing day for the “20 Mile” Race, which was the final ILD event of the year. 23 boats enjoyed what was an unseasonably warm day, reaching 25°C, with blustery southerly winds of 10-20 knots. 20 Mile Race Results and Cumulative ILD Results now available. Original details here.
Evening Time Trials – Amendment #1
Amended 19 July 2020. Monday evening Women’s keelboat time trials are added. The maximum number of laps is increased to 3. At the end of each lap except her final lap, a boat shall round a drop mark, not the timing boat. The timing boat flag is changed to the RC flag.
North Crane Update
Crane techs have been on site today. The lifting motor on the North Crane is operational but the boom must be operated by hand using lines. Please take your time and be cautious.
Club Launch: Saturday May 20
The 2023 Launch was successfully completed. The 2023 Boat launch sequence lists are available on-line. Members are advised to consult the South and Middle Crane launch lists on a regular basis as those lists are updated in real time during launch day. Winter Mast Storage
For masts stored on the NSC racks, spreaders must be completely removed and not taped or hanging from the shrouds. Masts must also be labelled with this form; please print and put in a plastic bag affixed to your mast.
