NSC has made arrangements with OPS to collect and dispose of expired flares. Please bring your expired flares to the office from 0930 to 1630, from the 28th of November to the 9th of December. There will be a bin to place them in outside the office. Please do not bring your expired flares to the bar for drop off. Expired flares must be in a stable condition (not cracked or used), dry, and able to transport.

Get Out On The Water!
We have a SOLD OUT SHOW!! On July 18th, 2015 the NSC and a number of other local sailing clubs, in partnership with Ontario Sailing, will host a fun barrier-free day which will give anyone a chance to try sailing, no matter what experience you have being on the water.
Fair Warning: Yard closure to vehicles coming up
Looking ahead, we’re anticipating a sharp increase in launch activity and it’s possible that we’ll need to close the yard to vehicles as early as April 28 and/or April 29. This is done to help our Service Providers launch boats quickly and efficiently. If necessary, timing and details will follow.
2014 Water Levels on the Ottawa River
Update 2014-05-21: As of May 21st, water levels are within a few centimeters of the near record peak reached last year. However, in 2013, the peak was reached May 1st. Now, at 59.74 m, the water level is more than 50 cm
