Great news – the East dinghy dock managed to get through the rapids largely intact and has been secured. On April 20th, Gene Bruce and a team launched a boat and were able to anchor the dock in the Ottawa River approximately 450 metres East of Britannia Yacht Club and Mud Lake, and 400 metres from the South shore.
