Please take your old tarps home for disposal. Happily it’s that time of year when we are removing the covers from our boats and looking forward to another season. If this is the last winter you’re managing to squeeze out of that cover, we kindly ask that you not simply stuff them into the refuse bins in the yard. They take up a lot of space and the club ends up paying more of your money to empty the bins more frequently.
If they are in relatively good condition you may fold and tie neatly into as small a bundle as possible and leave beside the bins. They will be used for pathways across the gravel for the Bring on the Bay Swim in July.
