The 2016 Sailing Program dates for NSC Specialty Events and Fun Races have been published. Recent to sailing and boating at NSC? Ever wondered what some of those NSC calendar weekend events are about? These annual club events are a great opportunity to have fun with family, friends, and your fellow members out on the water and onshore afterwards!

Click on any of the links below for an event description to learn more about these opportunities. Don’t own a keelboat or have a racing handicap?   No problem, neither are required for most events and other then the Single-Handed race (by defn!), last minute crew is usually welcome.

Commodore’s Sailpast and Dinner  – Saturday June 11th
MacGregor/Venture Rendezvous  – Friday June 10th to 12th
Get-Out-On-The-Water Day – Saturday June 25th
NSC Baskin’s Beach Weekend (Social) – Saturday August 6th to 7th
Midnight Madness Race & Corn Roast  – Friday August 19th
NSC Harbourmaster’s Race  – Saturday August 20th
Single-Handed Keelboat Race  – Saturday August 27thth
Turkey Trot Race and Feast  – Monday October 10th

While each of these popular events has a different theme or purpose, they all have the common elements for a fantastic day. Namely; member organised, a unique on the water fun experience, highly social, post-sail activities onshore, and strong club traditions dating back to the origins of NSC. In short, everything for you to discover sailing fun at NSC.
