There will be a work party on Saturday to open the Dinghy Park beginning at 8:30 AM.
All dinghy and Cat sailors are requested to come and clean up the area, move their boats into the assigned area and to help with other work party assignments. Laser sailors in particular are encouraged to come out. One of the racks was destroyed in the recent windstorm and will need to be retrieved from the water and rebuilt (bring your wetsuits) and two additional racks will need to be built. This will require a lot of moving of boats and more hand will make the work easier and faster.
The Board recently approved changes to the Harbour Policy to allow more effective management of the yard. Your boat must be in its assigned spot within 21 days of the Dinghy Park opening (by June 4th) otherwise you will be considered to be in storage. No boats may be stored anywhere in the yard for more than two years. Note that there are a number of unpaid boats onsite. These boats will be secured and upon proof of payment of fees having been paid and upon appointment with a member of the Harbour Committee can be released and moved to an assigned slip.
Here is the list of Dinghy Assigned Moorings for the Dinghy Park and a Diagram, both in Microsoft Excel format.
