The Dinghy Docks at the north end of the yard need repairs to the “T” sections and that work has started by moving the sections to shore. Every effort will be made to minimize the impact to the use of the docks and ramps. We are hopeful that the repairs will be completed quickly. The long sections of both docks are still available.

Yard Water Turned Off
The yard water (which is city water) is now turned off at all taps. Also, the sailing school washrooms have now been winterized for the season.

FANtastic FAll REgatta (FANFARE) – 2017 Report
The 2017 FANtastic Nepean FAll REgatta (FANFARE) took place on the September 9 & 10th weekend. 31 boats registered in five dinghy/cat classes. As usual the Lac Deschenes’ wind conditions were challenging but our excellent RC team lead by Hugh McDowell managed to run the nine scheduled races.
