Olympic Circle Yellow Race Marks, + 2 New Ones, now installed
The yellow race marks that comprise our “Olympic Circle” have now been installed, along with two additional marks: Q mark has been installed 1.4 Nm due north of NSC’s harbour entrance, near the Quebec Shore, and QP mark has been installed off Queen’s Park.
The NSC Harbour is Closed for 2023
With thanks to Mike Lee’s leadership, our Volunteers and Staff, the NSC Harbour was officially closed today for the 2023 Boating Season. Have a fantastic “off season”, see you in 2024!
Winter Yard Update
This year, NSC will be providing storage for Britannia Winter Trail‘s equipment in our yard. Their volunteers will have access to the yard and will be coming and going while they groom their trails. Please be cautious of their equipment and enjoy their efforts on the trail.
NSC Club Launch Postponed
Due to forecast flooding that is predicted by the Ottawa River Regulating Committee (ORRC) to be at, or above, the 2017 peak levels and the prevailing conditions in the harbour and yard, the Club Launch date has been postponed from 4 May to 11 May 2019.
