For anyone interested in learning how to use the crane, the next familiarization session is Sunday May 1st. No need to sign up, just show up between 11:30 and 2:30 at the north crane.

Co-op Mast Take down and Crane Familiarization – 12 October 2019
Members who want to de-mast cooperatively as a group can sign up for co-op mast take down on Saturday, 12 October starting at 0800 hrs to 1300 hrs at the North crane. There will also be a crane familiarization session at 1100 hrs in the same location. Please email Andrew (ANDREW.PLATER@forces.gc.ca) to reserve your spot.
Offshore Safety & Sea Survival Course, BYC, April 21-22
Eric Hill returns to Ottawa April 21-22 to again present his ISAF-approved Offshore Personal Survival course. This is the same course that NSC hosted in 2014 (see Jacques Adam’s report), and that BYC hosted in 2016. In 2018, it will again be hosted at Britannia Yacht Club, 2777 Cassels Street, Ottawa.
