What to do with your cradle after launch…

Cradle Storage from Commercial Launch Area

  1. After club launch and after the yard is re-opened on Saturday, prepare your cradle for storage. On the Monday after launch, the Club will be closing the yard to all traffic to move these cradles to the cradle storage area.
  2. Take your pads home. Label where they go for easy identification in the fall.
  3. Identify the bow & stern and mark your name and boat name on the cradle.
  4. Folding Cradles – fold your cradle and tie the arms to enable safe and secure storage. Any unfolded cradle will be folded by storage crews and the owners charged for same, save yourself this charge by doing your own.
  5. Non-Folding Cradles – tie any unsecured parts to the cradle
  6. Ensure that all loose materials around your cradle location are picked up and removed.
  7. If you need to access your cradle before next fall, please advise immediately to enable storage crews to set it aside, if no notice is received, it will be packed with others.

Cradle Storage with Service Providers

  1. After your Service Provider has launched you, your cradle must be folded to enable compact storage in the cradle storage area. You may have an arrangement with your Service Provide to do this but you are ultimately responsible to have this done.
  2. Your folding cradle must be folded and loose parts tied to the cradle frame.
  3. Take your pads home.  Label which pad goes where for easy identification in the fall.
  4. Identify the bow & stern and mark your name and boat name on the cradle.
  5. If you need to access your cradle before next fall, please advise immediately to enable storage crews to set it aside, if no notice is received, it will be packed with others.
