This just in: Water levels have been dropping (a little) since yesterday and are now low enough that the building is out of the immediate “danger zone”.
Even faster than yesterday, thank you! Roster for Tuesday night, Wednesday AM is full.
The river-level, sandbags and pumping operations are all “holding”. The Club is mostly dry and your boats are all secure. Our original request for help will cover us until Tuesday May 9 at 09h00. With an eye on river-level projections, we’re asking for a second round of help on a modified schedule. 20 additional volunteers…

At the 2016 AGM, the inaugural NSC Annual Volunteer Achievement Award (NAVAA) was present by Skype to Parke Davis who was in Florida. Parke was nominated by his fellow members for his volunteer contributions to the NSC during the 2016 season.

Volunteer at the 10th Anniversary Bushtukah Bring on the Bay Swim in support of Easter Seals Ontario, an organization that helps kids with disabilities to succeed. On Saturday, July 16th, be a part of the 3 km open-water swim, the largest in Eastern Canada, without even getting wet!
