This past Sunday, NSC assisted in transporting volunteers to Aylmer Island for a shoreline clean up. 13 volunteers from Ottawa Riverkeeper and Deep Blue Cleanup and three boat drivers from NSC removed 44 pounds of garbage and a derelict fiberglass dinghy. This year’s dock top demolition has been completed in record time over the 20/21 March weekend. A and X dock mains are now having new stringers and decking installed over the next month. A big “Thank You” to all the hard working members who came out. Well done to all of you!!! No further volunteer…
The Nepean One Design regatta is a highlight of NSC’s summer. Can you help the NOD team to create memorable sail racing? Some volunteers are needed from 1 April, and some are needed just for the regatta weekend. Help with registration, prizes and chair’s helpers.
At the 2020 AGM on December 16th, the NSC Volunteer of the Year (NAVAA Trophy) was announced and virtually awarded to Rene Lessard. Rene was selected by his fellow members and volunteers for his exceptional contributions as part of the Harbour and Yard team during 2020.

Monday October 14 is our annual Feast, to give thanks for the wonderful community of NSC and a great 2019 sailing season. We need volunteers to cook turkeys and other foods at home, and to help lay out the food. Sailors sail in the Turkey Trot pursuit race.
