Sewing Workshops – Cushions, Mattresses, Curtains, Sail Covers & Stack Packs etc. A meeting will be held at NSC Saturday April 23 at 11:00 am in the Sailing Room to discuss the establishment of a series of Sewing Workshops for those members with sewing projects.
NSC will once again be hosting the popular North U Boatspeed and Sail Trim seminar on Saturday, April 16th, 0830-1630, in the Harbourview Hall. Getting tired of winter? Need something to think about while the snow melts? How about sailing and really making your boat go!
Sail Canada and NSC is pleased to host a National Judge Seminar from October 29th to October 31st as part of the Sail Canada Annual AGM & Conference in Ottawa, ON. The Seminar will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club. The Sail Canada AGM & Conference will take place nearby at the Brookstreet Hotel.
Sail Canada is considering offering a National Judge seminar October 28 to 30 prior to the Sail Canada AGM which is being held in Ottawa on the following weekend.
Advantage Boating is hosting a winter seminar series. On February 19th at NSC. Serge Besner, a weather expert from Environment Canada, will discuss weather preparation when sailing.
