2016 NSC Awards Night A Celebratory Affair – Report
It was a great coming together as friends, team members, and fleets alike reconnected to celebrate the season at this year’s 2016 NSC Sailing Awards last Saturday evening. Dinner before-hand was fully subscribed, and the gathering crowd of NSC sailors soon overflowed into the Lounge creating a vibrant social buzz for the evening.

Well Frostbite Sunday racing has ended and the annual club haul-out has begun, drawing to a close another super NSC sailing season on the Ottawa River! Time for the final fall 2016 report on club sailing activities. It certainly has been a particularly active and engaging season for the member’s organised sailing program this year.

While October fall sailing is still on, the annual club sailing dinner and awards night will soon be here. Mark the date and celebrate the fantastic sailing and racing season that was with friends, crew, and fellow members in one classy affair!

Join your fellow members and friends for two of the wildest, fun, annual social sailing events of the year! A veritable NSC Fun ‘twofor’ weekend, August 19th and 20th.
RCYC/NSC Team “Sula Sula” 2016 Lake Ontario 200 Line Honours
On July 16th onwards, the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge offshore race was held out of Port Credit Yacht Club. The world’s longest annual freshwater race, 106 boats from clubs around the lake competed on either the Scotch Bonnet (200 Nm) or Main Duck (300 Nm) Courses in various divisions.
