At the AGM, Michele Cimon, Sail Training and Able Sail Director, announced “The Sesiya Project”. Through a generous donation from Bill James of Guelph, this fall NSC acquired a 1976 C&C 27-3 for use in our Sail Training and Able Sail Programs. It was a beautiful day for the Queen’s Park #2 time trial on Sunday, August 30, with winds out of the Northwest at about 14-18 knots. See the Results. Start & finish times were due by midnight, Monday, August 31. For reference, see the original BYC Notice.
Enjoy non-competitive pursuit sailing on Tuesday Summer evenings, for all keelboats. Each boat has a start time based on its handicap, with the slowest boats starting first. Sail around the course and enjoy your sailing community. There’s a “Sail the Caribbean” theme, with a suitable prize each evening for the best-dressed boat.
