For those interested, hardy and adventurous NSC Long Distance sailors, the infamous BYC 100 Mile Race (open to all clubs) starts this Friday September 11th at 1900h. Copies of the official Sailing Instructions, Course Description, and Certificate of Compliance can be found here.
The FAntastic Nepean FAll REgatta (FANFARE) is being hosted by NSC on September 12-13, 2015. This regatta is open to 505s, Fireballs, Albacores, Lasers, Laser Radials, 420s and Catamarans. The 2015 2.4 meter North American Championship was held at Nepean Sailing Club July 24 – 26.
NSC members Matt Davidge and Doug McGhan are enroute this week to the Columbia River Gorge (extremely windy venue between Oregon State, and Washington State) to represent NSC at the International 14 North American Championships. Last week the Eastern Yachting Circuit (EYC) Annual Regatta was held out of the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club in Belleville.

Two NSC sailors, Christine Lavallee and Aaron Wong-Sing, were listed among the 2015 world sailor rankings by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) and are ranked in the top 50 in the 2.4mR disabled sailing class.
