Back by popular demand and on Zoom for the first time, the 2021 Women in Wind Conference takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, April 24th. As of April 13, more than 50 women are registered. Speakers range from a commodore to a cruise week director, from local sailors to an Olympic racer.
The Nepean One Design regatta is a highlight of NSC’s summer. Can you help the NOD team to create memorable sail racing? Some volunteers are needed from 1 April, and some are needed just for the regatta weekend. Help with registration, prizes and chair’s helpers.
PHRF-Lake Ontario is hosting an information training webinar on Saturday, March 27, 0900-1200, and NSC members are invited to participate. More information is available here.

Wow! For its 10th anniversary, it was a fabulous summer for the Jacques Adam River Challenge. Good wind and good participation with pretty fast times!
The Jacques Adam River Challenge (JARC) is ending early this year. All attempt submissions must be submitted by 2100 on Sunday, October 18, to be eligible for the 2020 ranking. The JARC has enjoyed tremendous popularity this year, with as many attempts in 2020 as in the previous 4 years put together!

The final Frostbite event is Sunday, October 18, in time trial format, with a start window 13:30-14:00.
It was an amazing day for the “20 Mile” Race, which was the final ILD event of the year. 23 boats enjoyed what was an unseasonably warm day, reaching 25°C, with blustery southerly winds of 10-20 knots. 20 Mile Race Results and Cumulative ILD Results now available. Original details here.
