Looking ahead, we’re anticipating a sharp increase in launch activity and it’s possible that we’ll need to close the yard to vehicles as early as April 28 and/or April 29. This is done to help our Service Providers launch boats quickly and efficiently. If necessary, timing and details will follow.
The water system in the yard sprung a leak Saturday mid-afternoon and was shut down for repair. Repairs were completed by dinner-time and system was back on by 6pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Members, the 2022 Mooring Allocations for the harbour and yard are available on-line. Log in using your membership credentials.
If you plan to use the standing cranes at NSC to launch, haulout or mast your boat, you must have attended a “crane familiarization” session. If you haven’t done so already, signup is done online….
Great to see members in the Yard and a few tarps coming off. As you work around your boats, please ensure that your ladders are locked to your cradle or trailer while not in use.
The Bring on the Bay Charity Swim is back, on Saturday, July 16, 2022! In preparation, we’d like your old tarps. If you no longer need yours, please fold, tie and place it behind the Annex

With the rain and upcoming flash freeze the yard will be a skating rink. If possible please avoid the yard. If you have any concerns or need anything checked on please contact James Pole. mpm@nsc.ca.
Don’t forget to submit your updated proof of insurance prior to Club Launch! Boats in the NSC Yard and Harbour are required to have a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Members are responsible for submitting valid insurance to the office. Updated insurance information can be submitted using this online form, or by email.
The 2022 mooring invoices were issued 1 February and are due by 1 March. If you have not yet received your mooring invoice, or have any questions pertaining to your bill, please reach out to Jamiie.
