You’ve done a great job getting your boats ready and launched!  Many thanks for the hard work and also to the Service Providers for floating that many hulls.  We were able to open the Sailing School and Dry Sail Park more or less on time so, thank you.

With many thanks to a group of 15 volunteers led, once again by Mike Lee, the NSC Harbour is now open for 2015.

By all accounts, today was a fantastic day for Launch Preparations. While the Yard was “sort-of” busy, it wasn’t busy-busy.  Lots of tarps still in place.

Impeccable timing on my reminders, I know.  Was snowing last night.  Believe me, I understand your concerns about May 2.

Yes, yes, I know.  There is still snow on the ground and most of the Ottawa River is still frozen.  That’s precisely why I’m posting this…

January 27:  94 days since Haul Out, 94 days until Launch.  NSC is starting to ramp-up preparations for the 2015 Sailing Season, Summer #36.  Please make sure that you pay your invoices on time.

Two requests of you before the mercury drops much farther: doublecheck your tarps and please lock up your ladders.

In preparation for winter storage, many of you will be pulling your masts over the next few weeks.

Members are adivised to check their boats following the violent thunderstorms on Friday, Sept. 5th.
