Members: if you do not have permission to store your trailer in overflow parking, we ask that you kindly remove it no later than Friday, 14 July. Trailers that remain in overflow beyond this date may be subject to additional fees.
This year, NSC has provided members with oil absorbing pads for their bilges. Any member with an inboard engine can collect their absorbents from the Office. The goal of this initiative is to absorb minor fuel leaks prior to entering the harbour.
Water in the yard has been restored! Water is available at the docks, at water bottle refill stations and the STC washrooms are open and operational.
The Coast Guard has repositioned buoy K1 it its proper position. K1 marks the western edge of Britannia Shoal; refer to this chart.
The 2023 Launch was successfully completed. The 2023 Boat launch sequence lists are available on-line. Members are advised to consult the South and Middle Crane launch lists on a regular basis as those lists are updated in real time during launch day. Water levels are dropping steadily. Provided the forecast holds, we should be able to position W and Service Docks safely during the week of May 15-19 and host Commercial Launch on May 20.
Forecasted water levels on the Ottawa River are expected to rise quickly this week. We are watching closely and putting our plans in action – expect some restrictions while we prepare.
