Spring is finally springing, club launch is set for May 5th, it’s time for the boating season to get under way! Here are some key yard/harbour dates to mark in your calendar.
Please take your old tarps home for disposal. Happily it’s that time of year when we are removing the covers from our boats and looking forward to another season. If this is the last
Yard water is now on in all locations. Please bring your own hoses.
We have officially started one of NSC’s biggest capital renewal projects since the docks were installed. All of the wooden decking and underlying stringers must be replaced. Almost 100 volunteers helped with E dock on March 17 & 18. And we need your help with D dock on March 24 & 31. You can sign…
We will be closing the Dinghy Park on Saturday October 21, one week before Commercial Haulout of the keelboats. We have to clear the west end of the Dinghy Park, rows P, Q & R, moving any dinghies in winter storage to the S-T alley.
The next crane familiarization session will be held Saturday, September 30th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the south crane. Anyone planning on using either of the NSC standing cranes must attend a crane familiarization session. To register, please email me.
Please do not park your boat or block the visitor dock (along the front of the clubhouse) this Saturday June 24th. The area is required as part of our Get Out On The Water event. Thank you!
Please avoid parking in the yard. We are several weeks behind due to water levels and there is still much left to do to unpack the yard.
It’s time for the annual reminder to please be respectful of the time you take at the service docks. This spring it’s extra important to keep your visits brief as there are still many boats to launch as we are several weeks behind.
